“Online Leaf” is a great script if you are serious about making you website or blog Go GREEN.!

When your web pages passes a certain period of inactivity, it will hide all the heavy animations, cover the window in dark colors and will pause heavily running background processes, because these are generally less energy consuming.

If you are using WordPress all you have to do is, just Install and activate the plugin (you can get it from here). It will automatically incorporate a script called “standby engine” with your blog.
