electric car with zero emissions

Electric vehicles have been around for a while. But they are still a long way from being the norm. Two new electric cars from Nissan and Toyota just might change that in the near future.

The cars?

The Nissan Leaf and the Toyota Prius hybrid. They will be introduced to the market in late 2010 and 2011 respectively.

Why bother?

Zero emissions! So these electric cars are obviously a much greener way for you and your family to get around. In the US, electric cars are also eligible for tax credits which can be as much as $7,500.

Are these cars worth the hype?

We reckon so!

These cars will have all the comforts expected in today’s cars including cruise control, air conditioning, stereo sound system, and a navigation system that points you to the nearest public charging stations.

The companies are hoping to establish a large number of charging stations in the US in order to promote these cars.
