This energy control system reduces energy consumption by the use of its wireless, battery-less, energy harvesting micro chip based radio frequency (RF) control system. This controls the HVAC, switches and plugs.

The system also uses sensors and control devices to determine if a hotel room is vacant or occupied.

When the Verde energy control system is implemented in all 293 rooms of the Wyndham Hotel, the hotel will save 480,991 kWh annually.
