A Treadmill that Generates Its Own Power

This treadmill does not need to be plugged into an external power supply.

There is a battery that gets charged when you exercise on this machine which will power the display as well. This innovation has been made possible due to Woodway’s almost frictionless drive system.

The all new WOODWAY EcoMill is a totally green treadmill that uses zero electricity. The combination of WOODWAY’s patented running surface and innovative curved design allow users to achieve a manual or self powered workout. The EcoMill even produces its own electricity with the use of an on board generator that powers the display and a 5 volt USB outlet by converting the users energy into power.

So essentially what this means is that the EcoMill generates its own power and therefore results in a saving on the monthly power bill.

However…

We are not too sure just how ideal this machine is for home use purely because of its exceedingly high price tag! The machine comes in two colors (black or green) and can be purchased for US$ 8,500.
