Folding Car as a Solution to Limited Parking Space!
What are two of the main problems that city-dwellers around the world would face in the future?
According to 22 year-old British engineer Daniel Bailey, pollution and overpopulation are inevitable and their effects would be felt most severely in cities around the globe.
This is where the BRB Evolution comes into play! It’s the Evolution of the car as you know it in a wholly revolutionary way!
First things first…
This is a car that can fold in half! Yup that’s right… as overpopulation is going to reduce the amount of parking space available in the future, this innovation can potentially double the amount of cars in a parking lot.
How?
As you can see in the image first the car folds itself by lifting itself up on its nose. Then the rear wheels move under this front portion to effectively fold the car in half!
However, the driver obviously needs to get out of the car before the folding begins.
That’s not all…
The BRB Evolution has another trick up its automotive sleeve. This car is designed to be ‘green’ as well as it is powered by either electricity or a hydrogen fuel cell. And that by the way takes care of the pollution problem.
So how viable is this concept?
Well… until a company picks up this idea to design the car, it will continue to be just that… an idea. So there’s no telling when you could expect the BRB Evolution to hit the streets and as far as the viability of this concept is concerned… you guys can be the judge of that.
