Asthmatics and those who suffer from allergies will be quick to point out just how dirty the air around us often is. This one can sense when the air quality is bad or not. A pollution sensor lamp glows in different colors according to the surrounding air quality.

• Red - highly polluted air
• Dark purple – moderate pollution
• Light purple – low pollution
• Blue - clean air

As far as functionality is concerned…

The machine comes with a 3-stage Hepa filter that guarantees a 99.5% removal of air borne particles within an area of up to 240 square feet.

Hopefully there is a scientific basis behind the color indication, since $279.99 sounds like a considerable amount to shell out for any run-of-the-mill air purifier.
