Designed by Sara Ivanyi for the DesignMarketo “Lemonade for All” pop-up during Sofia Design Week 2011, “Particle” is a piece of art that represents a molecule of Citric Acid, an organic acid that occurs naturally in citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons. The structure is constituted of 13 separate wood parts representing the bonds and real fruits which have been used to represent atoms, making them become part of their own molecular unit while implying the fact that citric acid connects all the fruits.
