David Edgar is a sculptor who is currently living in Charlotte, NC. During his morning walks, he picks-up trash plastic containers from recycle bins in the neighborhood. Then, after a thorough cleaning, David takes these trash objects into the studio and transform into beautiful sculptures shaped like sea creatures. [ More Image ]

The series is called “Plastiquarium” and includes creatures such as fish, crabs, lobsters and jelly fish. They all are colorful and extremely beautiful. Surprisingly, David mentions that he doesn’t use any kind of a painting in order to give them those colors.
