Weapon Mosque

Religious buildings Made from Guns and Bullets

Al Farrow is a Brooklyn-born artist who uses guns and bullets for a rather different purpose other than killing; he uses them to create fascinating three dimensional religious buildings such as Christian reliquaries, Islamic mosques and Jewish menorah. The series is called “Reliquaries” and it is his most famous and the most controversial piece of work.
The whole series includes about 40 structures, and the one you can see here – which he calls “Bombed Mosque” – is just an excerpt of the whole series
Bombed Mosque measures 40” in height, 56” in width and 34” in length. [ More Images ]
