Eco-Bath – Reuses Greywater to Flush the Toilet
Eco-Bath system by designer ‘Jang wooseok’ implements an important earth friendly practice; unlike a conventional bath system, Jang’s design tries to minimize the problem of water being wasted each time we use the toilet. However, and most importantly, the look and feel of the new system does not differ from a normal water-tank except for the two levers and the LED, meaning no changes are required to your existing bathroom structure.
The tank of this toilet has two separate compartments; one at the left side for collecting greywater from the wash basin and the other one, at the right side, is for tap water. When the left tank is full, the LED turns green; this means you can pull the lever of the left one in order to use its content – the greywater – to flush the toilet. Inversely, an LED tuned red indicates that the left tank is not full yet, and now it’s the lever of the other tank, you should be pulling.
