“Floating Permaculture” is a nomadic urban autonomous farm where current problems (1) and the environmental impacts (2) associated with modern day farming will no longer take place. Designed as a massive structure that would float on the North Sea, this self-sufficient utopia is more like a giant “green reactor” inside of which a symbiosis between energy and food production takes place.

(1) Flooding, overpopulation and depletion of fossil fuel
(2) Destruction of fresh water ecosystem by agricultural run-offs, and the effects caused by the food transportation such as air pollution, traffic and Carbon Dioxide emissions.
