MoonRider – Flying Motorbike Powered by Jet Engine

Sponsored Links
Aptly named “MoonRider”, this conceptual hybrid motorcycle is a design by Marko Lukovic. It’s not only a hybrid in its mode of energy source, but also in its form as it is a combination of a motorcycle and a mini aircraft (more similar to helicopter.) The energy required for “flying” is supplied by a plasma jet engine; however this can be replaced with a today’s turbo jet engine too. And, in the land mode, the two front wheels come into play. Each wheel is driven by its own in-wheeled electric motor. Moreover, they both sports blue neon lights for better visibly at night and safety in a traffic jam.
At the front, on the black colored bonnet, is an array of solar cells that harvest sun light in order to generate electricity which will be used to power electric motors, GPS and other electronics within the bike.
Furthermore, the bike is made of light weight materials such as aluminum and composite materials in order to enhance the efficiency of the ride.
