Solar Light – Pinwheel-inspired Lamp (..NOT Sun-powered)

Solar light is a wind-powered lamp and is NOT powered by the sun (..don’t be fooled by the name). It has a number of Acrylic blades and a light pole, attached to a rotor hub which in turn connects to a metallic nacelle. When a gust of wind hits the blades they start to rotate, just like a pinwheel and the generator harnesses the energy of this rotation to produce the electricity needed to power-up the light pole.
