Sustainable Water Dispenser – Uses Hybrid Electrical System

Designed by Facundo Elias, this sustainable water dispenser uses a hybrid electrical system to power the electric heater located inside the water tank. ‘Hybrid’ means that the system can be powered either by solar energy or connecting it to the wall socket.

To harness the energy of the sun, the dispenser holds a solar panel at the top and a 540Ah/100h solar battery. The panel is capable of making 360 degree rotations and automatic angle adjustments. Therefore, once it’s turned ON at sunset, it automatically finds the best position where it can get the maximum amount of sunlight and then tracks the sun as it moves across the sky, throughout the day.
