Edible Pen Made of Candy
Dutch designer ‘Dave Hakkens’ has created a new type of a pen of which the entire body is made out of CANDY. Moreover, it’s filled with an edible ink. This means you can just eat the whole pen (except the point/tip) once you are done with it.
According to the designer, the pen has a texture similar to that of a candy bracelet and is made of 22 pieces. As for the candy, it doesn’t stick on anything and doesn’t melt when it’s in your hand, so it won’t get messy either.
“First gathered at a lot of pens and looked what makes it good to chew on. With that information I made 3 different molds and started testing out different types of candy, the breaking point and which chew the best. When I found the shape and candy I made a final model in peppermint flavor” Dave mentions.
