MetroCard Bench

Called “Metrobench” this design is the work of Stephen Shaheen, an artist and a designer based in New York City. To create the entire structure, Stephan has used about 5000 NYC MetroCards, all of which he collected in less than a week.

The bench is not only just a piece of art, but also an actually furniture. Since it hides a ⅛-inch-thick steel structural frame, three adults can sit on the bench as the same time. How cool..
