ORTO – Unique Living Floor and Wall Covering System
ORTO is a living floor and wall covering system composed of unique decorative tiles made of high performance concrete. On the surface of each tile is a network of groves where moss can grow along, giving rise to an extensive living and breathtaking green surface, and at the same time improving the local microclimate.
This is a creation of the designer Kriszta Balázs from Hungarian firm ‘IVANKA Studio and Concrete Works’ and was unveiled at iSaloni SaloneSatellite event in 2010.
