Glass with a “Hole”

This glass designed by ‘Alesina Design’ has a small hole on its body that divides the volume into two parts; “need”- below the hole, and “want” – above the hole

This stops users from ‘wanting’ to fill it with water than is ‘needed’. But as it can still waste water when someone tries to drink it, the designers are suggesting covering the hole with your thumb in order to avoid any spillage.
